The recipe is very simple to make and uses ingredients you are likely to have on hand in your pantry.

Makes approximately 2 cups
1 cup brown sugar firmly packed
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon butter
1. Place brown sugar, water, honey, cinnamon and salt in a saucepan.
2. Stir over medium heat until brown sugar is dissolved and mixture comes to the boil.
3. Boil for approximately 5 minutes.
4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and butter.
